Pre-Hiring Internship in Financial Services 80-100% (m/w/d)
Your Tasks
As part of the Financial Services team in Geneva, you will work with leading financial institutions, including private banks, wealth managers and asset managers, on large-scale business and technology transformation programmes. You will support our consultants and clients in designing and implementing strategic initiatives that shape the future of banking operations, digital platforms and business processes.
During your six-month internship, you will be
Working closely with our Banking & Financial Services team on major banking platform transformation programmes and strategic change initiatives
Supporting business analysis, process assessment and requirements definition activities across the banking value chain
Contributing to the design and implementation of business and IT transformation projects, from strategy through to execution
Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to analyse current operating models and identify improvement opportunities
Gaining exposure to core banking platforms, AI & digital transformation initiatives and banking operations
Developing a comprehensive understanding of business and IT processes across front, middle and back-office functions
Actively participating in internal activities to support our managers, including business propositions and ad-hoc support
Your Profile
You are finishing or have completed a master’s degree from a University or Engineering school
You have a strong interest in financial services, banking operations and technology-enabled transformations
You have a first experience in project management and business analysis or consulting within a private bank, wealth manager, asset manager, financial software provider or consulting firm
Knowledge of banking processes, operating models and/or core banking platforms (Avaloq, Temenos, Olympic, Finnova, Azqore) is an advandtage
You are familiar with working in an international environment and are fluent in both French and English. German is a plus.
Good command in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SQL, data analysis tools or GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) is an advantage
You are detail-oriented, analytical, proactive and solution-driven, with strong communication and organisational skills
You demonstrate strong team spirit, ownership and motivation to grow into a permanent consulting role within BearingPoint
